Onze vakantiereis voert ons dit jaar vanuit Edinburgh naar Cairngorms National Park, in het hart van de Highlands. We toeren met ons motorhome door East Neuk, de oosthoek van het graafschap Fife. Vissersplaatsjes als Anstruther (the best fish and chip shop of Scotland) en Crail vullen altijd wel een paar pagina’s in ieders fotoboek. Ook St Andrews – the cradle of golf – behoort tot de vaste pleisterplaats van elke bezoeker. Negen mijl ten oosten van Braemar en in het hart van de Cairngorms, ligt ons reisdoel: Balmoral Estate en de Royal Lochnagar Distillery.
